Privacy Policy

The short version
QR Toolkit does not require an account or upload your QR/barcode content or local history. Generating, scanning, and keeping a short history are local-first features. Advertising and consent services may process device and advertising information as described below.
This policy covers two different things
The QR Toolkit app (iOS and Android) collects nothing, as described below — it has no server to send data to.
This website (qr.safravo.com) is a separate, static marketing site. It may show ads served by Google AdSense, which uses cookies to measure and personalize ads. See “Advertising on this website” below for what that means and how to opt out. The web tool at qr-code.safravo.com is a separate product with its own privacy practices.
Advertising on this website
This website (not the app) may display ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits here and to other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. See Google's own policy on partner sites for how it uses this data. Mobile advertising is described in the section below.
What the app accesses on your device
QR Toolkit requests the following device permissions, each used only for the specific feature that needs it:
- Camera — to scan QR codes. The camera feed is processed locally and is never recorded or transmitted.
- Photo library — only when you tap Save, to write a generated QR code image to your gallery.
You can revoke either permission at any time in your device settings.
History and local storage
Codes you generate or scan are saved to a local history (capped at 50 items) using on-device storage. This data never leaves your phone, is not visible to us, and is deleted permanently when you remove an item, clear your history, or uninstall the app.
No third-party data sharing
The mobile app uses Google AdMob to support the free product. Google may process advertising identifiers, diagnostics, and ad interaction information. The web site may use Google AdSense. These services do not receive the QR/barcode content stored in the app's local history.
Children's privacy
QR Toolkit does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
